How does it work?
Ultrasonic Cavitation is used to reduce stubborn fat and aid in weight loss. This treatment doe not replace exercise and healthy eating habits.
Ultrasonic Cavitation breaks down fat with the use of sound waves, it can reshape and sculpt the body. It can also reduce cellulite.
When the cavitation head is applied to the skin it emits sound waves into the tissue. The sound waves disrupt the fat cells by causing them to collide with each other. The force of the cells bumping into each other causes the cell to break open. Stored fatty acid, glycerol, and water are released and the cell shrinks.
The lymphatic system will pick up excess water and fatty acids and dispose of them through urine. The fat cells themselves never leave the body, they shrink and expand but do not dissolve.
Radio Frequency emits heat. The heat warms the skin just enough to create micro injuries which in turn stimulates the body to produce its own collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are the components of skin that make it tight, plump, and youthful looking. Radio frequency will feel warm but does not burn the skin.
Suitability and side effects
Yes, caviation and radio frequency are safe, but it is important to head caution as it is not suitable for everybody.
Cavitation is typically not suitable for :

People who had plastic surgery or implanted prostheses 10 weeks prior to treatment.

People who recently injected hyaluronic acid, skin booster, or had an injection for wrinkle removal or plastic surgery.

Side Effects
Some brief side effects may occur:

These symptoms should reside within the day of treatment.
When radio waves encounter fat cells the client will hear a ringing noise in the body, the technician will not hear it. It will stop as soon as the handle is taken off. If the handle encounters an area with no fat the sound will stop. The practitioner will communicate with the client to ensure they are comfortable with the sound.

Frequency
Often times results can be seen after the first session but at least 3 sessions should be performed.
7 -10 are recommended for the best results.
At least 72 hours between sessions allows time for fat to be eliminated.
